Description
Adathoda Podi is a traditional Single Herb Powder made from the pure leaves of Adathoda vasica (Malabar Nut). Known in the Siddha tradition as “Pavettai,” it has been used for centuries to support the respiratory system. It acts as a natural expectorant, helping to balance “Kapha” (mucus) and maintain clear, easy breathing through all seasons.
Usage & Dosage

Traditional Method: Mix 1–2 grams (approx. 1/2 teaspoon) of the powder with lukewarm water or honey twice daily after food.

Decoction (Kudineer): Boil 5g of the powder in 200ml of water until reduced to 50ml, strain, and drink.

Pro-Tip: For persistent throat irritation, mixing Adathoda Podi with a pinch of long pepper (Thippili) and honey is a classic traditional remedy.
